    Ther-Biotic® for Infants – Probiotic Cultures for Infants and Toddlers up to 2 Years

    During the first months of life, a child's gut microbiome develops particularly intensively. Ther-Biotic® for Infants has been specifically formulated for infants and toddlers up to 24 months and contains a balanced blend of 10 probiotic cultures – divided into five Lactobacillus and five Bifidobacterium strains.

    The powder is tasteless, hypoallergenic, and can be easily mixed into expressed breast milk, infant formula, or pureed foods.

    10 Specially Selected Microorganism Strains

    Each scoop contains a total of 5 billion colony-forming units (CFU):

    • Lactobacillus strains: L. rhamnosus, L. casei, L. paracasei, L. gasseri, L. salivarius
    • Bifidobacterium strains: B. infantis, B. bifidum, B. longum, B. breve, B. lactis

    All included Lactobacillus strains primarily produce L(+)-lactic acid – a form that is preferred in infant nutrition.

    Gentle on Digestion – with Inulin from Chicory Root

    The cultures are embedded in natural inulin, a soluble fiber derived from chicory root. In nutrition, this serves as a prebiotic component and contributes to microbial diversity in the gut.

    1. How is the product administered?

    Simply stir one scoop into food or liquid – e.g., breast milk, milk, pureed foods, or yogurt. Do not give directly into the mouth.

    2. How many servings are included?

    The 66 g container contains approx. 132 servings of 0.5 g each – sufficient for up to two months with daily use.

    3. From what age can the product be given?

    From birth. For babies 0–6 months, administration via the mother is recommended (e.g., via breast or expressed milk). From 6 months: 1 scoop daily, from 12 months up to 2 scoops.

    4. Does the product need to be refrigerated?

    Yes, to ensure quality, it should be stored at 6–8 °C.

    5. Is the product suitable for premature babies?

    Use in premature babies should always be discussed with a healthcare professional.

  • Recommendation for use

    Directions:

    Do not give the powder to infants and young childrenon its own, but mix it into food or drinks. Forchildren aged 12 months and older, 1–2 measuring spoons daily. For children between 6 and 12 months, 1 measuring spoon daily. (One measuring spoon corresponds to 5 billion CFU). The powder can be mixed into infant formula, milk, juice, or foods such as yogurt, applesauce, etc. Breastfeeding mothers can add the powder to breast milk and apply small amounts of the powder to the nipple and/or finger and administer it to the infant in this way.
