    Ther-Biotic® Senior Formula is formulated for individuals over the age of 60- years to maintain a healthy, balanced, diverse gastrointestinal microbiota. Aging is associated with changes in the composition and diversity of the microbiota as well as alterations in gut microbial activities. A decline in immune function often seen in the elderly has been linked to alterations in the gut microbiota. Reductions in healthful Bifidobacterium populations, which normally help modulate immune function, are associated with an increase in
    markers of chronic systemic inflammation. Ther-Biotic® Senior Formula supplies substantial amounts of Bifidobacterium species known to decline with aging. It provides Lactobacillus species with documented supportive effects on immune function.

    Directions:

    1 capsule daily with food. Capsules may be pulled apart and the contents taken seperately.
